WEAR A HOMEMADE MASK
You can make your own mask at home in as little as one minute.*
Homemade masks can help reduce the spread of Covid-19.
Why? If you’re infected then having a cloth layer in front of your face captures some of the droplets emitted from your mouth and nose.
Take a look at our simple guide to find out how to make a mask using materials you have at home.
*Please keep surgical masks & FFP3 respirators for health care.

OUR MISSION
#COVID-19 is a huge hurdle to overcome, but all of us wearing homemade masks when outside is a simple and effective way to protect our communities together.
Our mission is to empower the public to make their own masks, learn how to wear and wash them, and understand why wearing homemade masks any time you go out in public helps reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Which masks? We are advocating the use of reusable cotton masks, made from simple items you can find in your house. Please keep surgical masks & FFP3 respirators for the NHS and social care workers, and donate them if you have some.
Why should I make and wear a mask when I go out? My mask protects you, your mask protects me.
What do we mean with #Masks4All UK? The #Masks4All movement was started as a grassroots campaign in the Czech Republic. In a matter of 3 days, almost 100% of citizens were wearing homemade masks. Check their story, by watching this video. We want the UK to do the same.
Stay at home! Wearing masks shouldn’t make you go outside of your house more than necessary. All the official guidelines still apply.
